Good day all,
I am trying to add a date picker to my UserForm but having no success. I was told that Microsoft Monthview Control 6.0 is what i need to check from the additional control tab in the vba toolbox.
I tried accessing additional control from the tool box but did not see Monthview Control 6.0 .
I tried looking in the References under Tools but it is not there either.
I googled the problem and found that I needed to download a file called MSCOMCT2.CAB file and extract to c:windowssysWOW64 then register from the command prompt using the following, regsvr32 c:windowssysWOW64mscomct2.ocx.
After doing all this still no success.
When I tried registering from command prompt most times I get and error message.
I did managed to get a massage saying that the file was successfully registered however when I re-open excel vba and check the reference it was not present.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong or if there is another way to get the date picker similar to what exists in Microsoft Word Developer options.

Oct 19, 2019 Hi all, I'm looking to add the Microsoft Time and Date Picker Control in Excel 2016, as was possible in earlier versions. In Office 2013, you had to download and register the Microsoft Windows Common Controls 6.0 (SP6) to access this feature, but now I can't find it anywhere.
